Hello everyone.
So I thought I'd just say I won't be submitting too much for awhile because there is a lot going on right now..
Yes it's that time of my life where I'm looking into colleges, applying, and visiting.
It's exciting I guess but really stressful at the same time.. I'm sure it is for anyone who is majoring in art.
and I'm sure you already know that most art colleges are really expensive. I looked up one the other day and the tuition alone was $52,000 just for one year.
Crazy isn't it? I've been trying to catch the news recently, just to see if they're doing anything about these high education costs. but nothing so far. Although I have seen some cool ways of getting scholarships, so maybe I'll look into that. one girl received like $6,000 or something for designing a prom dress out of duck tape haha. it was incredible.

On the good side of news, I actually found a college I really want to go to. I'm visiting it in November (yay!) and I'm really determined to go there. Oh and it's not as expensive as other places so that's good too.. And it's not a community college. I actually wouldn't mind a community college (seeing that it's easy to get into those) but.. right now my parents are thinking of moving. Yeah talk about stress haha. sooo.. I have to find colleges where were moving to or somewhere where it's not too far from it. At first I was pissed but I honestly see now a move will probably benefit them (they found better jobs and my sis a better university) and this college that I found and I'm visiting soon is near where were moving. so right now I'm super hoping everything works out.
also I can't thank you enough for all your lovely comments and support. I really do appreciate them.

and for some really cool news...
I "came out of the closet" a week ago. not to my parents yet but to my sister finally. and I'm really pleased to say that she was so happy for me! and that she fully supports me all the way . I also told my best friend and she's really happy that I finally found someone (because I haven't been with someone for awhile haha. the last person I was with was a guy too.. haaa. )
So yes, I'm glad and I also feel more confident about it now. It's such a relieving feeling that I told them. and it's funny because even though there is a lot of stress around me (or to come) right now I couldn't be any happier. no lie.
this girl, she makes me feel so complete and she is so beautiful. I'm really grateful for our love.


(BTW the title of this journal is an excerpt from my favorite TV on the Radio song, Province. I did now make it up haha for sure.)
